Teaching Experience:
I began my teaching career as an 8th grade Language Arts teacher at Blythewood Middle School in 1999. After three years of teaching eighth grade I spent a year as the Lead Teacher at Blythewood Academy, Richland Two's alternative school, before spending three years at Summit Parkway Middle School as an Assistant Principal. I spent eight years as an elementary principal and four more years as principal at Dutch Fork Middle School. This is my fifth year as the Principal at Dutch Fork High School.

Hobbies:
Most of my spare time is spent with my beautiful wife Melissa and my two boys Gerald II and Cameron. If I'm not coaching one of their games I'm on the way taking them to one. I love reading the newspaper and quotes!
